This page has been created to help you navigate your way around applying for a Pit Pass/ Licence/ Car Registration with the Victorian Speedway Council. If you still need help and can’t find the answer below please email site.vsc@outlook.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
Creating a membership
You will need to create a membership to obtain a licence, pit pass and or register a car.
To create a membership go to the registration page or you can find it in the menu bar under Licensing >New Member, and fill out all the details.
You will need a passport size photo clearly showing your face. Please make sure you put a valid and correct email address in as this is used for resetting your password.
Logging In
To log into your account go to the login page or in the menu bar Licensing > Login.
Your username is your licence/ pit pass number including any zeros that are at the start (DO NOT INCLUDE THE A) example 09999, you can also use your email address.
Once you are logged in it will take you to your account page. Please check all your details are correct before purchasing. See below for changing/ updating your details.
If your password doesn’t work you may need to reset it. Note this will only work if your email address in the system is correct.
Resetting Your Password
If you need to reset your password you can either go to this page or click the forgot password link on the log in page.
A link to reset your password will be emailed to you. Please check your junk/ spam folder if you cannot find it in your inbox. If you do not receive an email, your email may be incorrect in your account.

Updating Your Picture
To change your profile picture you need to click on the edit profile button on your account page.
Once you are on your edit account page scroll down the bottom to your Avatar and select the red pen symbol in the top right corner of your picture.
A pop up will appear which will allow you to upload a new photo.
Then click on the tick and your new picture should be showing in your avatar. Remember to click the save changes button.
Purchasing your Licence, Pit Pass and or Registering a Vehicle
Once you have completed your account registration or logged in, you will be taken to your account page. There is a link to the licences page on the account page or following the links in the menu bar under licensing. See below for further instructions.
On the licence purchase page select which product you need. Please note that car registration can be done at the same time as purchasing your licence or pit pass (except for Junior Pit Pass).
NOTE: You may only purchase one (1) pit pass or licence per season.
NOTE: To complete these applications you will need a copy of your safety gear sheet and medical forms for licences and daylight sheet/s for vehicle registration.
NOTE: If using a mobile phone to upload your forms, please take a new picture during your application process. Please DO NOT use saved images from your phone.
MEDICAL – All new licence applicants MUST provide a medical.
Pit Pass:
You will need the following to complete your pit pass application.
- Ambulance membership number and expiry;
or Healthcare Card number and expiry;
or Health Care Fund membership number and expiry. - Proof of paid membership of a speedway club. If this is not provided, your pit pass will be sent back to your club to be forwarded to you.
If you are also registering a car you can do it on this application (not junior pit pass). See below for car registration.
Junior Pit Pass needs a parent to agree to the declaration.
Licence:
You will need the following to complete your licence application.
- Ambulance membership number and expiry;
or Healthcare Card number and expiry;
or Health Care Fund membership number and expiry. - Safety Gear List
- Proof of paid membership of a speedway club. If this is not provided, your licence will be sent back to your club to be forwarded to you.
- Medical Form, this is compulsory for new drivers and/ or every three years and or every year for drivers over 70 years of age. The next season it is compulsory for all drivers in the 2022/2023 season.
Car registration can be done along with your licence application. For further information on car registration please see below.
Car Registration:
You can register up to 4 vehicles per application. If you wish to register more you will need to complete your first one then start another.
All the information required for this section can be found on your daylighting sheet which you will also need to upload an image of.
Please note your car club number is the club assigned car number along with the club prefix.
